I think their life was very hard. Especially since people were dying everyday. The first Americans could also feel very proud when they were crossing the Bering Strait bridge because they were the very first people to go there and they could explore new things. This is what I think.

I think that they got very tired. Now that I think about it our life is kind of easier than their life because they had to grow or catch their own food and we just have to go to HEB. I think their life was really hard. They had no car to travel in which means they had to walk all that way to get their food!

That is very insightful of you to realize how easy we have things compared to the American Indians. They literally had work all day, everyday, just to be able to survive.

I think it would of been very cold. Also I would think it would be hard to walk on ice for a long time. I bet some times people were very tired and wanted to rest all the time. That is what I think.

I think it was very difficult. Thousands of miles of just walking. But it must have been a bit O.K. because it might have started to warm up a bit as they traveled closer to the equator. Either way I do not want to experience that. But I would absolutely love to learn lots more about them.

I think that their life was very hard pretty much what Julia said
people are dying everyday because they where no medicine back then so when someone got fever or a disease they will die because of no medicine and that there was no showers invented so they will wash in the same river so they will all get sick at least we don't live back then right?

I think it was do or die lots of people had to contribute. Everyday lives were a struggle to survive. People were dying because of unclean water, low amount of food and exposed to harsh weather. When they crossed the Bering bridge it was about 20 miles long on icy land which now is sunken they're lucky it was there back then.

I think it was very hard for the first Americans when they crossed the Bering Strait because they had no no food or water. I'm very sure it was cold at that time and all they had was buckskin clothes to keep warm. Plus they had kids that they had to deal with too. I am sure that it was very hard to adapt to the cold weather but they managed!

It was very hard for them to travel. They didn't have very many things like we do now and they had to walk a long distance.

I think that it was very hard. But I feel like they were not pessimistic unlike me. I think as they were crossing the bridge that they had fun and danced around a campfire. And they didn't hesitate when the chief said that they were in a new land. I feel that they were happy no matter what.(Until they were invaded by the English men.) But the point is I feel like nothing could disappoint them even if they were starving, nothing could control their happiness.

I think that back then it was hard for them to survive the cold because it was on the ice so they would have to be so careful and if I am right I am shore I that they saw a lot.

I don't know what to do for my reading homework. Do I just do un- awensered questions ? I don't know because I was in A.L.P.H.A.

How did you all feel coming to a new school the first time? Think back to last year and your first day. How do you think this was similar to what they experienced or felt? How was it different from what they experienced?

Well I have had to move a lot and I am new to this school. But on the first day of school, I was VERY excited. I don't mind moving that much. But if I had to move from Texas, I would be sad.
