This Monday we will be celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Why do you think this day is a national holiday (a day that is celebrated all over the country)? What does Martin Luther King Jr. mean to you and the way you live your life today?
I think that we celebrate this holiday because Martin Luther King Jr. made a huge impact on America with rights for black people. He changed lots of unfair laws, so we like to remember him.

Well, he means a lot to me. He did die, yes, but he stopped segregation. Not all of it, but now, people from anywhere are free to use anything. Same drinking fountains, bathrooms, and more. Martin Luther King Jr. deserves more than just one day of being respected.

It is very important because Martin Luther King.jr. He's the one who ended segregation hen no one else stood up and told the Americans what's right Martin did. It would still probably be the same way if it wasn't for him. He got arrested several times yet he kept trying. Then he got killed but he left one of the greatest impacts in history. That's the reason we still today celebrate Martin Luther Kings day.

Well Obviously, Whoever killed was just jealous because he made the
Worlds best Speech. >:3
Well I wanted to say that if he had not made that speech, we would still be in like a side war.

It is a holiday because Martin shared his dream of socializing with the white people. He affected the people who I am friends with today. (what he means to me-->) Someone who stands for their rights.

I think Martin Luther King Jr. changed the way I live because of my friends. I have some good friends that I wouldn't have met if it weren't for him.

MLK jr. wanted to change the world and make it a better place. and it is thanks to him. We remember what he did for us by celebrating Martin Luther King jr. Day. We live the way we do now where blacks and whites are together because of him. He made speeches and laws so this could happen. Sadly he sacrificed himself for us. To me he is a life changer, risk taker, and a leader. He understood that we are all human and all on one world together. So we deserve to be together. All for one, One for all :)

I think that we celebrate Martin Luther King Day because MLK showed Bravery, Fairness and Courage to stop segregation and back then if you were a different skin color you were not treated fairly. To me MLK made a big impact in the world today and we are lucky to live in a fair world where everybody is treated equally.

He is the one who brought freedom and let black and white people be together. So now we can go to school together and play together because Marten Luther King J. stopped all the slaving.

I think mlk jr was a honorable man he stood up to
to make blacks be just like the whites he stood
up to all the whites and said it doesn't matter what our skin color is.
